Mountain expeditions are always challenging; therefore, you cannot underestimate Ama Dablam. Its south ridge area has boulders, slabs, cairns, and gullies to be crossed till you reach Camp I. After spending the night over there, you head to the east ridge following a narrow trekking trail. We continue this trail till we reach the western ridge and Camp II. The hardest part of the climb you will experience in this part because the climbing trail is not only narrow but also the camping area is too small. What lies ahead from there is a rocky structure? And you walk on this structure to reach Camp III. Like in other expeditions, there are also crevasses on Ama Dablam.
September and October are the best months for the expedition. There is plenty of sunshine. And you will be able to enjoy your trek as well as climb. And who can forget the clear blue sky? This also means there is no rainfall. Snowfall is a far-off thing. When there is no snow, the expedition becomes easy. And the best is during this month, there is no avalanche and landslide in Nepal. What poses a challenge to trekkers and climbers in June, July, December, January, and February from the point of view of weather that you know in your mind has seemed to vanish from the Everest region forever. This is the reason why our guides love to climb Ama Dablam in October and December.

Both are challenging. They are part of the Himalayas. Whatever is in the Himalayas, they are not easy to do. One of them is technically challenging. That is Ama Dablam. Just like Everest, this mountain also has crevasses. As you climb from Camp II to III on Ama Dablam, the climbing trail is narrow and rocky. Just as you summit Mount Everest with difficulties, you will face the same situation on Ama Dablam. When it comes to expedition days, Everest takes longer days from 60 to 90. On the other hand, you can complete Ama Dablam in 33 days. But it is to be remembered that beginners can complete both expeditions. There are more than 200 death cases on the Everest expedition. The death cases on Ama Dablam are very, very low.
From the base camp, you will see a lot of snowy peaks, including Mount Everest. Standing here, you feel you are at the top of a viewpoint. Because the view of Everest makes your jaw drop. When you summit Ama Dablam, you will see an indomitable view of Everest. The view of the tallest mountain is fantastic. You can call Everest a handsome mountain; you can also call it the most beautiful. Both are agreeable.
No, but it is technically challenging. However, you can summit Ama Dablam from different routes. One of them is the Lowe Route which helps the climbers successfully reach the summit of Ama Dablam. Another is the North Ridge Route which was used in October 1979 to summit Ama Dablam. On the other hand, the East Ridge and the north east ridge are the toughest and steepest. Although the East Ridge is the toughest, climbers have successfully ascended the summit of Ama Dablam.
