Remember the 2015 movie “Everest” ? Yes it was us who managed the logistics, accommodations and became the liaison for the movie here in Nepal.
Our team of Sherpas also guided the movie crew in the Everest region and helped with equipment, transport and local support.
Not just Everest, in our 32 years of service we have worked with different movie crews and various channels such as National Geographic, Discovery and BBC.
Peak Promotion was also the local partner for EVEREST IMAX Film 1996 (Directed by Greg McGillivray/ David Breashears / Stephen Judson for Mac Gillavray Freeman Film). Another one of Television work collaboration was with EVEREST ER (Part 2) for Indus Films and BBC in 2006.
EVEREST (Indian TV Series) Telecasted by STAR Plus (Directed by Glenn Baretto and Ankush Mohla, Everest is created by Ashutosh Gowariker) was also one of the many projects we worked on.

Our team of Sherpas travelled from Kathmandu to Lukla and then to Mount Everest. We had our measuring equipment with us and all the experts we needed to complete the task.
Our company was selected as a handling agency by the Nepalese Army for the Mountain Cleaning Campaign 2021 (Everest, Lhotse, Pumori, Amadablam, Makalu, and Dhaulagiri). Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and adverse weather conditions, we successfully executed the campaign, collecting 27.6 tons of garbage and recovering four deceased individuals from these mountains.
Subsequently, we have been consistently appointed as the handling agency for the Nepalese Army’s Mountain Clean-up Campaign for the years 2022, 2023, and 2024. During these four years, we have accumulated a total of 108.1 tons of garbage and retrieved nine deceased bodies from various mountains, including Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Kanchenjunga, Makalu, Manaslu, Annapurna, Amadablam, and Pumori.
