The morning started already at 6 in the morning after a restless night with my brother not feeling well, thoughts and anxieties about the day naturally crept in. But as soon as I stepped into the lobby and our faithful guide was there waiting with boiling water and breakfast, I knew immediately - this day is going to be great! He invited us, my brother and me, to the garden to start the morning with stretching and mobility. Now we are sitting in Namche at 3440 meters altitude and I just say WOW! A tough day in pure altitude but what amazing views we have seen and an incredibly helpful and respectful energy all the way. We have met people, children, porters, donkeys, etc., and it has clearly been a day to remember. My brother is feeling better and we have been well taken care of by our guide who has made sure we drink enough and adjust our clothing according to the weather. He has booked a truly fantastic hotel room here in Namche and we agree that his word is our law from now on.
