Best Time to Visit

The best months for the Upper Mustang Trek are March to November. Thanks to its location in the Himalayan rain shadow, the region remains relatively dry even during Nepal's monsoon season, making it one of the few treks suitable for summer trekking.

Trek Difficulty

Upper Mustang is considered a moderate trek. Daily walking ranges from 4–7 hours on well-established trails. No technical climbing is required, but a reasonable level of fitness is recommended.
