Dikki Sherpa

Dikki Sherpa is a professional Nepalese mountaineer, female trekking guide, and mountain leader instructor with more than a decade of experience in the Himalayas. Originally from Sankhuwasabha, Nepal, she has dedicated her career to guiding trekkers and climbers through Nepal’s spectacular mountain landscapes while promoting safety, professionalism, and responsible adventure tourism. Since 2014, Dikki has successfully led numerous trekking and mountaineering expeditions throughout Nepal. Her extensive field experience, technical expertise, and passion for the mountains have established her as one of Nepal’s respected female mountain professionals. In 2018, she successfully summited Mt. Everest (8,848.86m), the world's highest peak. She has also climbed Mt. Manaslu (8,163m) and numerous other 6,000-meter peaks across Nepal, including Mera Peak, Island Peak, and Ramdung Peak. Dikki has completed a wide range of professional training programs through the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA), Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management (NATHM), Nepal Mountain Academy, and UIAA-certified Mountain Leader courses. Her qualifications include Trekking Guide Training, Basic and Advanced Mountaineering Training, Rock Climbing, Advanced First Aid, and Mountaineering Liaison Officer Training. Beyond her guiding and climbing achievements, Dikki actively contributes to Nepal’s mountaineering community as Treasurer of the Everest Summiteers Association and Secretary of the Nepal Mountain Leader Association. Through her leadership, experience, and commitment to excellence, she continues to inspire climbers and trekkers from around the world while promoting Nepal as a premier destination for mountain adventure.
