Arrived in Kathmandu
City Tour in Kathmandu and preparation day for the trek
Fly to Lukla & Trek to Phakding
Vi mötte upp vår guide (Dikki) och åkte till flygplatsen för att ta ett tidigt morgonflyg till lukla. Efter landning började vi vandra mot phakding vid floden dudh-khosi. Efter middag så gick vi till sängs.
Trek to Namche
Efter frukost började vi vandra efter floden dudh-khosi till Namche-bazaar (3400 möh). Vi hade turen att få se toppen av Mount Everest för första gången idag. Det är den största byn vi kommer gå förbi och är omringad av 6000-meters berg.
Acclimatization Day in Namche
Acklimatisering. Vid ca 07:30 började vi hajka till khum-jung (ca 3800 möh) för att acklimatisera oss. Kom tillbaka lagom till lunch och spenderade resten av dagen med att ta det lugnt.
