For the first time in the history of Nepali Army, two infantry personnel made it to the top of the world’s third highest peak. Captain Raju Shrestha and Jawan Amit Thapa crated history by successfully scaling Mt. Kanchenjunga, Babu Sherpa, Managing Director at Peak Promotion Pvt Ltd, informed. The duo, being part of the cleaning campaign, were the first from NA to scale the 8586m peak Sherpa who organized their expedition said

The NA team was accompanied by Chhiring Jangbu Sherpa (IFMGA guide), Furba Sherpa, Ngima Chhiring Sherpa and Chhewang Sherpa.
