Today appeared almost anti-climactic after yesterday's adrenaline surge. We woke up late, had a relaxing breakfast and set out almost reluctantly for our next destination – Thame. We did see some peaks in Rowling Himal but otherwise the trek was quite mundane.
We have put up in a tea house which belongs to Apa Sherpa – the climber who holds the world record for the maximum number of Everest summits- a mind boggling 21. Tenzing Norgay was also born in this village before he migrated to Darjeeling.
We realized from the views that we have almost completed a perambulation around Khumbiyola...the trek could also be called Khumbiyola circuit. Needless to say all team members are in great spirits and are now looking forward to going home and meeting their families.
