May 7, 2016 - Trek to DIngboche

Every morning we wake up to the excitement to see the clear mountains, and what we saw today was amazing. We could see Mount Amadablam and Lhotse clearly. We also got chance to interact with Robert Celinski an avid mountain marathon runner. We had a long walk ahead of us, but the inspiring words from Robert Celinski motivated us a lot.

The terrain was beautiful; we could see the beautiful Dudh Koshi river all along the trail. We crossed Pangboche and reached Somare where we stopped for lunch. We could feel the temperature dropping, but the slow and steady walk was keeping us warm. We could see the Dingboche Village from distance, it is beautifully located amid rocky hills and snow capped mountains. We reached Dingboche around 3 pm.  After settling down in our rooms we freshened up and went for a walk to Dingboche bakery. The Weather stared clearing up and we could see Ama Dablam Upclose.

Even after a long day of trek, the spirit of our group is amazing, we still managed to sing and dance to few numbers. The trek is getting better and better.
