The trail follows six hours driving to Dhunche from Kathmadu to the North and end at another point in Sundarijal. Gosaikunda trekking grants the others perspective of Langtang trekking in the same region.
Gosaikunda is a lake which lies in Rasuwa district of Langtang region that is the site of regular Hindu pilgrimage a journey or search of great moral significance. It is situated at the height of 4380 metres from sea level, and melts and sips down to form the Trishuli River. The lake remains frozen for 6 months in winter october to june. In fact there are 108 total lakes, small to medium in this area and also the challenging Lauribina La pass 4610 meters on its outskirts. It is believed to have originated from the digging of the land by the Trishul (holy 3 pointed sword) of lord Shiva after he drank the poison from samudramanthan and desperately wanted cold water to drink to quench the overwhelming heat of the poison.

Day 01:Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel
You will be welcome at Kathmandu Airport and transferred to Hotel, Langtang Gosaikunda trek briefing with official arrangement, overnight stay in Hotel.
Day 02:Full day sightseeing in Kathmandu
Today we have full day for city tour includes Hindu Temple Pashupatinath, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swoyambhunath (a monkey temple) and Bouudhanath.
Day 03:Drive from Kathmandu to Syabru Besi (2100 m)
Drive from Kathmandu, which takes about 7 hrs. On the way we have to passes through Tirsuli River and from the bank of river we can see the fascinating view of Himal, Mt.Manaslu, terraces and beautiful green hills. Syabru Besi is a cool place, overnight in Syabru Besi.
Day 04:Trek to Lama Hotel (2380 m)
Today we have to trek from Syabru Besi to Lama Hotel. The trail goes through the landslide area. We have to passes through Tibetan refugee camp, Bamboo and Rimche. If we are lucky may be we can also see Red Pandas, Monkeys and Bears on the way.
Day 05:Trek to Ghora Tabela (3020 m)
The trail goes through forest of oaks, rhododendron, and hemlock towards Ghora tabela. The literal meaning of Ghora tabela means Horse stable. In Ghora tabela we can see the army camp also, overnight in Ghora tabela.
Day 06:Trek to Langtang Village (3500 m)
Today our trail goes from Ghora tabela to Langtang valley. The beautiful Langtang valley is surrounded by mountains. From the Langtang valley we can see the panoramic view of near Mountain and you can also explore the culture of the people. We can also see wood houses and yak grazing pastures in Langtang. The houses are of Tibetan style, which is surrounded by stonewalls enclosing fields where buckwheat, potatoes, wheat, turnips and barley are planted.
Day 07:Trek to Kyanjin Gompa (3800 m)
It takes about 4 hrs from Langtang valley to Kyangjin.The walking way is very interesting and on the way you can see the panoramic view of Kyangjin Ri, Tserjo Ri, Ganga, Langshisa- Ri, Naya Kang etc.
Day 08:Hike to Tsergo Ri (4984m) and back to Kyanjin Gompa
Today in the morning you can see the natural beauty of Kyanjin Gompa and hike to Tsergo RI. We can also visit Langtang glacier and beautiful Pasture land Langshisa Kharka. Back to Kyanjin Gompa, overnight stay in Kyanjin Gompa.
Day 09Trek to Ghora Tabela (3020 m)
Today our trail goes from Kyangjin Gompa back to Ghora tabela.
Day 10:Trek to Syabru (2100 m)
On the way we can see fascinating view of Mountains and green hills and we have to passes through Lama and Sherpa village, overnight in Syabru Besi.
Day 11:Trek to Sin Gompa (3250 m)
Today we have to walking through forests of rhododendron. On the we can see shepherd’s huts, overnight stay in Sin Gompa.
Day 12:Trek to Gosai Kunda (4380 m)
Our trail continuously goes by rhododendron forest. Gosaikunda is religious site. Hindu worships this lake as the abode of God Shiva and Goddess Gauri. On the day of Janai Purnima (festival of Hindu) many people from other parts of Nepal and Indian come here for worship this holy lake.
Day 13:Trek to Ghopte (3430 m)
Today you have to passes through challenging way to Ghopte, which lies in eastern part of Gosaikunda. We have to passes three lakes and we also have to cross Laurebina La. After that we have to walk through rocky hill where we found rhododendron and pine trees, overnight stay in Ghopte.
Day 14:Trek to Tharepati (3490 m)
The trail goes through rhododendron and Juniper forests and on the way we have to passes through beautiful waterfalls, overnight stay in Tharepati.
Day 15:Trek to Kutunge Sangu (2400 m)
Today we trek towards Kutunge Sangu from Tharepati. From Kutunge Sangu people enter in National park, overnight stay in Kutunge Sangu
Day 16:Trek to Chisopani (2100 m)
The trail goes through forests. We have to walk up and down way and on the way to Chisopani we can see Himalayan range from Manaslu to Everest.
Day 17:Trek to Sundarijal and drive to Kathmandu
Today our trail goes to beautiful Sundarijal. We have to passes through Burla Bhanjyang to reach Sundarijal and near to Sundarijal we also passes through Army check post. The meaning of Sundarijal means beautiful water.
Day 18:Kathmandu- Walking tour around Kathmandu where you can do shopping and there will be farewell dinner in the evening
Day 19: Departure for home
Departure from Kathmandu to your own country with wonderful memories of trekking in Langtang Gosaikunda trek.
