Langtang Village lies north of Kathmandu, offers massive amount of trekking destination that is accessible without flights. It is a narrow valley inhabited by Tamangs whose daily practices is similar to Tibetan. Visiting to the Langtang village provide a unique opportunity to explore villages, cultural life styles, to climb small peaks and to visit glacier of the low elevation. The language, culture and the traditional customs of Sherpa from this region is very different than the Sherpa from Solukhumbu region (Everest region).
After 117km drive to Dhunche treks starts towards Syabru crossing over the Trishuli River. Following to the ascending and descending different places on the trail, we reach to the Langtang Vilage. Next day we hike Langsisha Ri to the North of Kyanjin Gompa that present a spectacular view of Langtang Lirung. Then we descend to Ghora Tabela and Syabru Besi to drive to Kathmandu. This treks offer the magnificent view of Langtang Lirung (7246m.), Gang Chhenpo (6388m), Naya Kangari (5846m.), Dorje Lakpa (6966m) etc
Day 01 Arrival in Kathmandu
You will be met at the airport and transferred to the hotel, Yala Peak climbing briefing with officially arrangements, overnight at Kathmandu hotel.
Day 02 City tour and preparation in Kathmandu
Full day sightseeing in Kathmandu includes Hindu temple Pashupatinath (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), Monkey temple the Swoyambhunath, Kathmandu Durbar Sauare and also visit Patan)
Day 03 Drive from Kathmandu to Syabru Besi (2100 m)
Drive from Kathmandu, which takes about 7 hrs. On the way we have to passes through Tirsuli River and from the bank of river we can see the fascinating view of Himal, Mt.Manaslu, terraces and beautiful green hills. Syabru Besi is a cool place, overnight in Syabru Besi.
Day 04 Trek to Lama Hotel (2380 m)
Today we have to trek from Syabru Besi to Lama Hotel. The trail goes through the landslide area. We have to passes through Tibetan refugee camp, Bamboo and Rimche. If we are lucky maybe we can also see Red Pandas, Monkeys and Bears on the way.
Day 05 Trek to Ghora Tabela (3020 m)
The trail goes through forest of oaks, rhododendron, and hemlock towards Ghora tabela. The literal meaning of Ghora tabela means Horse stable. In Ghora tabela we can see the army camp also, overnight in Ghora tabela.
Day 06 Trek to Langtang Village (3500 m)
Today our trail goes from Ghora tabela to Langtang valley. The beautiful Langtang valley is surrounded by mountains. From the Langtang valley we can see the panoramic view of near Mountain and you can also explore the culture of the people. We can also see wood houses and yak grazing pastures in Langtang. The houses are of Tibetan style, which is surrounded by stonewalls enclosing fields where buckwheat, potatoes, wheat, turnips and barley are planted.
Day 07 Kyanjin Gompa (3800 m)
It takes about 4 hrs from Langtang valley to Kyangjin.The walking way is very interesting and on the way you can see the panoramic view of Kyangjin Ri, Tserjo Ri, Ganga, Langshisa- Ri, Naya Kang etc.
Day 08 Hike to Tsergo Ri (4984m) and back to Kyanjin Gompa
Today is the rest day in Kyangjing Gompa. Early morning hiking in the Kyanjin - Ri (4773m) which may be interesting for you. After having lunch we can visit the Buddhist Monastery and Cheese factory.
Day 09 Trek to Ghora Tabela (3020 m)
Today our trail goes from Kyangjin Gompa back to Ghora tabela
Day 10 Trek to Syabru Besi
On the way we can see fascinating view of Mountains and green hills and we have to passes through Lama and Sherpa village, overnight in Syabru Besi.
Day 11 Drive to Kathmandu
Today we drive back to Kathmandu and it takes about 7 hours.
Day 12 Kathmandu
Today is the free day for you and you can have shopping this day. In the evening there will be farewell dinner with cultural show.
Day 13 Departure for home
Today is the final departure date from Kathmandu towards your own country with superb memories of trekking in Nepal
