Shishapangma is the furteenth- highest mountain in the world. It is called Gosainthan in Nepali, and at 8013m, the lowest of the eight- thousanders.due to its location entirely within Tibet and the restrictions on visits by foreigners to the region imposed by Tibetan and Chinese authorities. It is now regarded as one of the most straightforward 8,000m climbs and its summit is frequently achieved.
The route on Shishapangma starts Fly from Kathmandu to Lasha and drive from Lasha to Base Camp (5000m). From base camp we have yak support to ABC (5400m). The climb to Camp One (6200m) and to Camp Two (6700m) is straight-forward glacier travel. From camp Two the route steepens as it climbs a rocky gulley leading to Camp 3 (7400m). From camp Three to Summit the route between the Central Summit and the Main Summit (8,013m), is quite difficult and requires traversing a sharp ridge crest. If the conditions are acceptable, we will try to go to the Main Summit.
Above the itinerary is not a fixed programmer but is intended to give an indication of the likely events during the expeditions. Please note that because of the nature of Himalaya on 8000m peaks, it will be necessary to have a flex-bible plan in order to take the best advantage to situations as they present themselves.
