This morning it was very tough to get up at 6 o’clock because of the 8 hours trek yesterday. But after breakfast we started to feel better and ready for last day of trekking. This times all the way from Namche to Lukla also an eight hours walks!

The weather was perfect for trekking, half cloudy and not to warm. We met very many porters bringing lots of goods for the big market on Saturday to Namche. This market is a huge market run every Saturday where people bring their goods to sell in Namche.

At the highest bride at Jorsalle before Namche, we put up several prayer
flag to put the last part of our expedition successful.

After lunch, we were eagerly waiting to see the first signs of Lukla and when they finally appeared, it felt much easier to conquer the last hill. And when we passed through the gate many people applauded us and the feeling we got was immense: and we were all very happy to have made it.

At dinner time in Lukla, we had celebration: Bjorn made a very touchy speech from his heart to the guides. The guides answered by giving everybody a souvenir – a beautiful registration card called TIMS (Trekking Information Management System).
