Wow! That is the only word I can think of. There are not many times in life, I use that phrase but this was totally outstanding. To see Mount Everest for the first time was breathtaking. The way was long and beautiful. I got a little bit of a headache today because I walked to fast, 500 altitude meters in 1 ½ hours. My Sherpa friends are more then good. They are calm and funny….and they have respect for the mountain and the nature.

We stopped at Phungkitanga for lunch and the sun was hard but so was the wind. The biggest problem today was the wind. I still have sand in my mouth.

Now we are sitting with a Sherpa family and having dinner. I am tired but happy…
