Saturday 11th of November
We woke up to another morning with clear blue sky. Stunning. Couldn't wait to get out. Today an acclimatization climb to Everest View Hotel (3 880m) waited us after breakfast.
The high steps started immediately. No warning. After four steps uphill, our legs reminded us happily of the previous day's endless climbing. But for every step it felt easier as the view got more and more magnificent. Turning 360˚ and we were amazed. We reached the Everest View Point and got a panorama view of 8 000m-summits, including Mount Everest and Lhotse, as well as the beautiful Ama Dablam (6 856m) facing the blue sky.
After some tea at the Everest View Hotel with the summits in the background we descended back to Namche Bazar. On the way back we had the privilege to visit the statue of Tenzing Norgay Sherpa and the Tenzing-Hillary Museum.
Arriving back to the hotel. Tired legs. Lucky. Ready for the next day.
