After 16 days in the Himalayas with trekking and climbing we did our last trek today. We started around eight from Namche Bazaar and reached Lukla at around three. Even if we now are quite tired and set to go back to Kathmandu, it is a little bit sad to leave this beautiful part of the world. We have just had a farewell ceremony and said good bye to our Sherpas and guides which have done everything for us during our time in the Himalaya. Thank you all!!
We have been a quite mixed group, all with individual goals, and have had lots of fun together. Many of us reached Everest Basecamp, where we meet some of the Peak promotion team for Everest summit. Even if just a few of us reached the Summit of Island peak we have had a great time anyhow.
Our feet and bodies are now longing for the warmth in Kathmandu, where we intend to have a rest before returning to Sweden on Sunday :)
Farwell and thank you Peak Promotion!!!
