After 3 days of “descending” we finally went down hill today! One more Trek day tomorrow (up hill again) before the flight back to Kathmandu on Friday morning (weather depending).
Our Trek song: Ke Garne (Ke Garne: Nepali for “what to do”) to the tune of “If you’re happy and you know it, clap your hands”

When your feet succumb to blisters,
Ke Garne
And your toes they are a-jambing
Ke Garne
Only walking up the stairs
Makes you need to stop and pause
And your lungs they are a-screaming
Ke Garne

When your room is well and frozen
Ke Garne
And your hands have lost all feeling
Ke Garne
You give up all your rupees
For a hot and steamy shower
And all you get is ice-cold water
Ke Garne

When you warm yourself with Yak dung
Ke Garne
And to charge your phone they rob you
Ke Garne
When you eat a bad chapatti
And you’re running to the potty
And you’re downing antibioties
Ke Garne

When you’ve got a pounding headache
Ke Garne
And your lungs are filled with fluid
Ke Garne
When your head is getting dizzy
And your brain is getting squishy
And you think you’re seeing Mallory
Ke Garne
