Thunderstorms last night made for a clear and beautiful start from Phakding on our way to Namche Bazaar.  We crossed many suspension bridges and a metal bridge, hanging high over the Milk River.  Marcie devoured a plate of noodles and vegetables for lunch in Jorsalle and then we headed up the steeper part of the trail to Namche.  We avoided any dangerous encounters with Yak-Cows and Donkeys but ate other peoples’ dust, as the trail was crowded.  We are all feeling well still….Stacee is even offering free massages to strangers on the trail….???

We hope to catch our first glimpse of Sagarmatha (Everest) tomorrow as we acclimatize.  Namche Bazaar is a nice touristy town tucked into the corner of a “hill” and stands at about 11,000’.  We will be enjoying Dalbaht at the Khumbu Lodge tonight.  Hope you are all well!
